Nikki de Gruchy is a commercial social and still-life photographer, currently studying for a degree in photography at Camberwell, University of the Arts London, as a mature student. A keen amateur photographer for many years, Nikki decided on a career change at the age of 32, and undertook a 2 year HND in Photography & Digital Imaging at Thames Valley University.
In addition to working as a freelancer, Nikki is continuing her studies in fine art photography, with her work exploring the photograph as object, working with the book and other sculptural forms. Nikki is delighted to be offering her skills as a volunteer photographer for the RSPCA, combining her love for animals with her other great passion.
Nikki undertakes private commissions, with a preference for environmental portraiture in the client’s own home or garden. She is also currently exhibiting at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in the Garden Photographer’s Association exhibition.
