Who we see:
RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital will register you as a client and provide LOW COST (not free) veterinary services and treatment for your companion animals, provided that you can provide:
You are in receipt of one or more of the state benefits listed below and can show proof. For Universal Credit: ‘payments’ page on the universal credit log-in or a recent (last 1-2 months) bank statement with the UC payment showing.
Proof that you live within the hospital’s catchment area- see below
Photographic proof of your identity.
It is very important that every time you visit the hospital you provide evidence of the benefit, as well as your proof of identity and address.
Our eligibility criteria has been updated and we now only see new animals of clients on the following benefits:
Income Support (IS)
Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Pension Credit (NOT state pension)
Universal Credit (only the parts related to IC, JSA, ESA- not Working Tax Credit, Child tax Credit or any other components).
Must be receiving a Standard Allowance and show up-to-date proof.
The hospital Catchment area covers all addresses within the following postcodes:
SW13-20, TW1-TW19, KT1-KT10, KT12-KT13, KT17-KT21, SM1-SM7, UB1-UB10
We also cover the out of hours/ emergency work for our Southall Clinic which covers the following postcodes: W3, 5, 7, 13 UB 1-10, TW1-TW19, KT1-KT10, KT12-KT13, KT17-KT21
Putney Animal Hospital has eight wards and two operating theatres, as well as diagnostic and laboratory facilities. The hospital also has a 24-hour telephone service to advise customers who are concerned about their pet’s health.
